In light of all the rainy, fall days we’ve had in New England this week, here’s a poem I wrote during our trip to Vermont last fall. Hope you enjoy!
Shadowy mist, weightless, settles
with the hills
A muted silhouette, motionless, travels
with a blank sky
Breath, effortless, appears
with clarity obscured
Faint rain, clear, blurs
with the colors of the landscape.
